Aid: Türkiye donated 100 thousand US Dollars to Bhutan which was affected by the Cyclone Aila in May 2009.

During the Donor’s Conference on Drugs and Traditional Medicines which was organized in Bhutan between October 10-14, 2015, Türkiye announced its contribution of 50 thousand USD.This development aid contribution was transferred to Bhutan in November 2015. A project on the modernization of the informatics infrastructure of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bhutan was prepared by TIKA and the Protocol on the implementation of the Project was signed on February 17, 2016. In this context, the equipment to be used in the modernization of the electronic communication infrastructure of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bhutan was delivered to the Bhutanese authorities in August 2016.

In accordance with the needs of the Bhutan, the procedures of donation of an ambulance to Bhutan is completed and a full-fledged ambulance was delivered to Bhutanese Minister of Health H.E. Dechen Wangmo on 13 February 2020 in Thimphu.
