Educational, Cultural and Scientific Institutions of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO)

1) ECO Educational Institute

“The Law on Agreement Concerning the Ratification of the Charter of the ECO Educational Institute signed in Almati on 9.5.1998” no. 5587 dated 28.2.2007, has been published in the Official Gazette dated 3.3.2007

The institute shall have its headquarters in Ankara.

2) ECO Cultural Institute

The institute has its headquarters in Teheran. Turkey although not a member, participates in its activities.

3) ECO Science Foundation

The institute will have its headquarters in Islamabad.

Its charter is being reviewed. Turkey shall consider joining the institute following the revision of its basic documents.
