H.E. Mr. Ban Ki-moon, Secretary-General of the United Nations, will visit Turkey on 7 December 2012.

On the said date, the Secretary-General will first visit one of the housing centers established for Syrian citizens who have fled to Turkey and thereafter proceed to Ankara where he will have meetings with H.E. Mr. Abdullah Gül, President of the Republic of Turkey, H.E. Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey and H.E. Mr. Ahmet Davutoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey.

In these meetings, an exchange of views on the latest regional and international developments is expected to take place.

The Secretary-General of the United Nations will leave Turkey on Saturday, 8 December 2012.
