We have learned with sorrow that, according to initial reports, 12 people were killed and approximately 50 people were injured today (21 February 2013) as a result of two consecutive bomb blasts at a bus stop near the market place in Hyderabad, the capital city of the state of Andhra Pradesh in India.

We condemn this terrorist attack which killed innocent people. We wish God's mercy upon those who lost their lives, convey our condolences to their bereaved families and wish a speedy recovery to those wounded.
