The Extraordinary Meeting of the D-8 Council of Foreign Ministers was held in Istanbul to discuss the situation in Gaza. Following the meeting, a joint press conference was held, and a joint declaration was accepted.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan met with Ali Bagheri Kani, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, on the margins of the Extraordinary Meeting of the D-8 Council of Foreign Ministers.

Minister Hakan Fidan later met with Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan.
