The Note to Press Regarding the Meeting of Turkish-Greek "Working Group on Environment" No:111 - June 22, 2000

The Turkish-Greek "Working Group on Environment" met on 23rd June 2000, Friday in Ankara to review the implementation of the "Memorandum of Understanding Between the Republic of Turkey and the Hellenic Republic Concerning Cooperation on Environmental Protection".

The priority areas of cooperation reviewed were: desertification; ecotourism; renewable sources of energy; olive-oil residues exploitation and biomass; seismic research and antiseismic constructions.
