We strongly condemn the abhorrent armed attack which occurred in front of the USA Consulate General in Istanbul, leading to the loss our lives of police officers.

The level of security measures already existing for US missions, personnel and interests in our country has been raised.

We mourn the loss of lives of our security officers in this vile attack, and extend our sympathies and condolences to their close ones.
