Political consultations between Turkey and France were held in Ankara on 29 September 2016 under the co-chairmanship of Under Secretary Ambassador Feridun H. Sinirlioğlu and Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development of France Ambassador Christian Masset. During the consultations, regional and international issues as well as bilateral relations were discussed. Secretary General Masset also visited the building of the Parliament which was severely damaged during the coup attempt.
