The Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E.Mr. Ismail Cem is going to pay an official visit to Japan on April 5-8, 2000, upon the invitation of the Foreign Minister of Japan, H.E.Mr. Yohei Kono.

During his visit, the Minister will be received by the Prime Minister of Japan, H.E.Mr.Keizo Obuchi, and will have talks with the Foreign Minister Kono and the Chairman of the Interparliamentary Friendship Group, H.E.Mr. Kanezo Muraoka.

At the talks to be held during the visit, views will be exchanged on bilateral relations as well as regional and international issues.
