Foreign Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Etiopia, H.E. Seyoum Mesfin is going to pay an official visit to Turkey on March 13-15, 2000, upon the invitation of Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Mr. Ismail Cem.

During the visit, political, economic, commercial and cultural relations between Turkey and Etiopia will be reviewed and views will be exchanged on regional and international matters of mutual interest. Furthermore, a cooperation protocol is planned to be signed envisaging a political consultation mechanism to be established between the two Foreign Ministries.
