EU Commissioner Responsible for Enlargement, Mr. Gunter Verheugen is going to pay a working visit to Turkey on March 8-10, 2000, upon the invitation of Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Mr.İsmail Cem.

Various aspects of Turkey-EU relations will be reviewed at the talks to be held between Mr. Verheugen and Foreign Minister Mr. Cem.

EU Commissioner Mr. Verheugen will also be received by Prime Minister H.E. Mr.Bulent Ecevit, Deputy Prime Minister H.E. Mr.Devlet Bahceli, State Ministers H.E. Mr.Yüksel Yalova and H.E. Mr.Tunca Toskay and the Chairman of Foreign Affairs Committee of the Turkish National Grand Assembly H.E. Mr.Kamran Inan during his visit.
