H.E. Jaime Gama, the Foreign Minister of Portugal, which currently holds the EU term Presidency, will visit Turkey on 14 March 2000, upon the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs , H.E.İsmail Cem.

During the visit, bilateral relations ,international and regional issues as well as Turkey-EU relations will be evaluated.

The visiting Minister will be received by Turkish President H.E. Süleyman Demirel and Turkish Prime Minister H.E. Bülent Ecevit.
